Dana Bhatnagar, soprano, is a recent graduate of The Juilliard School with her Masters Degree in Vocal Performance. At Juilliard she played the roles of Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring, Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Cobweb in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Susanna in Act II of Le Nozze di Figaro. Ms. Bhatnagar received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University, and is now a resident of New York City. She has performed extensively with such organizations as the Opera Theater of Pittsburgh and the River City Brass Band. While attending Carnegie Mellon University, she performed the roles of Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring and the Foreign Woman in The Consul. Ms. Bhatnagar also has been a soloist with the Carnegie Mellon University Concert Choir under the baton of Dr. Robert Page.

A featured soloist in the Vocal Chamber Music Program at the Aspen Music Festival in 1999, Ms. Bhatnagar also has performed as a soloist in Europe. In the summer of 2000 she performed with the Spoleto Festival USA as a Priestess in its production of Iphigénie en Tauride and also sang at the BASOTI Institute in San Francisco as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro. During the 2000-2001 school year at Juilliard Ms. Bhatnagar, in addition to opera roles, has performed on numerous Liederabend and Songbook programs as well as Alice Tully Hall concerts of new compositions with the Juilliard Orchestra. In April of 2001 she presented The Mirabai Songs by John Harbison in Alice Tully Hall as a recipient of The Juilliard School's Vocal Honors Recital and completed a recital tour in Texas for The Piatigorsky Foundation. Most recently she attended the Aspen Music Festival where she and her sister Geeta sang as the soloists in Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream with David Zinman conducting. Ms. Bhatnagar will continue to tour with the Piatigorsky Foundation and give various recitals throughout the year.
